In sessions I want to be able to understand and get to know you as an individual. I want to be able to learn about where you are at and work together to identify and meet your needs. I want to listen and share the burden, so we can approach the problem together. Everything we do will be a collaborative effort. I work for you and to help you achieve your goals. The ultimate goal is to feel a sense of empowerment, confidence, and the ability to make informed, independent decisions after sessions end.
I use a person-centered approach which emphasizes the client is the expert on themselves and I'm here to help you explore your identities and experiences further. I believe in a strengths-based approach which allows us to focus on what we’re already good at rather than focusing on deficits. I also focus on accepting thoughts and emotions without judgment.
Seeking out therapy is a step in moving towards improved emotional and psychological well-being. Therapy can seem scary at first, but it gives you an opportunity to learn more about yourself. Exploring thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior allows you to manage life in a more fulfilling way. You deserve a place to feel safe, empowered, and encouraged.

In our fast-paced world, life can get exhausting. Many of us just want to get a weight off our shoulders by simply ranting or finding effective solutions. It’s normal to feel skeptical and anxious about starting therapy, but it’s important to remember that the benefits often outweigh any initial inconvenience. I’d like to help you explore these advantages and seamlessly integrate therapy into your routine.
As a therapist specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and various life stressors, I prioritize a non-judgmental, client-focused approach, grounded in empathy and cultural competence. I draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities to best support you, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for addressing negative thought patterns, mindfulness techniques to help manage anxiety and stress, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to foster psychological flexibility and commitment to personal values.
Whether you're an individual, a couple, or a family, my aim is to create a warm, supportive space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings. I will help you share your burdens, and empower you to discover and implement your own solutions. The journey to therapy is different for each person, but it is a step toward helping yourself. I understand how difficult it is to open up yourself to someone which is why it is my goal to ensure that as your therapist, our sessions are centered around you and what best suits you. My approach is client focused and I will use a variety of therapeutic modalities to help you develop coping skills and strategies in order to help you in your everyday life.
My goal is to offer a safe, open, and supportive environment to help you assist you in the challenges that you are facing. I understand that there are times when you can feel as though no one can truly understand what you are going through and I hope to create an environment in which you feel welcome to discuss and develop ways that work best for you and your life

Therapy is a valuable and enlightening tool that enables us to access, explore, and integrate our truest, most authentic version of ourselves and process big and small life events. My therapeutic space is a judgment-free, safe, and empowering environment where, together, we will work through whatever issues you face. I work with adults experiencing a range of issues from depression to anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, identity development, difficulty with life transitions, addiction, and self-esteem issues.
I also possess a clinical interest in working with trauma survivors, as well as birthing persons and those facing reproductive struggles. My practice is rooted in psychodynamic, existential, and narrative approaches, as well as ACT, trauma-informed care, and Gestalt and mindfulness-based techniques, among others.
Advocacy at both individual and systemic levels is central to me. As a born and raised New Yorker, I have long been inspired by the creative and diverse energy of this city and those who live here, and I aim to bring a similar curious and positive approach to our work in the therapeutic space. I look forward to meeting you!
