Sometimes life becomes overwhelming and we just want to find a safe place to unload the difficult thoughts and feelings. Sometimes you just want to be heard without judgement, with compassion, understanding, and with cultural sensitivity from a person centered prospective . I maybe who you're looking for. My therapeutic approach is cognitive by introducing positive thoughts and behaviors to cancel out the negative thoughts and behaviors. I look at the whole person not just the obvious issues reported by an individual. Sometimes we need an outside observer to take the journey with us to cut thought life's everyday circumstances.

In sessions I want to be able to understand and get to know you as an individual. I want to be able to learn about where you are at and work together to identify and meet your needs. I want to listen and share the burden, so we can approach the problem together. Everything we do will be a collaborative effort. I work for you and to help you achieve your goals. The ultimate goal is to feel a sense of empowerment, confidence, and the ability to make informed, independent decisions after sessions end.

I use a person-centered approach which emphasizes the client is the expert on themselves and I'm here to help you explore your identities and experiences further. I believe in a strengths-based approach which allows us to focus on what we’re already good at rather than focusing on deficits. I also focus on accepting thoughts and emotions without judgment.
